Crazy selfies

Hello everyone! It's vacation here because it's carnaval! After all the dificult exams we had (not) we now have a 2 week vacation! I'll do some travels and try to celebrate carnaval with the crazy ecuadorians. I also thought it would be nice to post another blogpost and I had the idea of posting some selfies I took during my exchange and write a small comment. So here we go!

This one is the first: it was on the first orientation. We went to a mall with all the yfu students and it was the first moment in Ecuador we had wifi. For the ones that don't understand dutch: the text means 'everything super good here'.

This one is in the athletics stadion where I practise my favourite sport.

During a walk with some friends. We walked over a scary bridge, so of course I had to take a selfie!

At Quilotoa, a crater lake close to Latacunga. This is defenietly one of the most beautifull places I've ever been!

Of course I also have to post a selfie with our crazy dog, Hercules.

During the jungle trip, on a cool bridge!

During a walk with friends from school, we went a bit up to the mountain to have a nice view of Ibarra.

When Boen came, we went to Cuicocha, a beautifull lake nearby. To be honest, I love taking selfies at beautifull places!

Here, Boen took the selfie. During a citytrip in Quito we went up on a mountain with the famous Teleférico. This takes you to an altitude of 4100m, and if it's not cloudy you have a unique view of Quito!

With my awesome host family on Christmas. Celene didn't want to be in the picture.

With my favourite YFU people at Canoa beach! It was so awesome to go to the coast knowing it was quite cold at the same time in Belgium!

With the guys from the neighbourhood and Celene, celebrating New Year!

Selfie with the crew at the equator. Some of them is standing in the southern part of the world and some of them in the northern part.

The last one. I am really proud to call her my hostmother. She is and she will always be a very special person! Not every situation is easy for my family but they will always smile and be happy.  They already shared their house with 7 exchange students and I hope more can come! Thanks to them in first place, my exchange year is so good!

Thanks for reading!!

Un abrazo!!
